Mission Statement:

The Palmer Recreation Department strives to provide inclusive, diverse recreational opportunities that promote health, community, and engagement. We aim to enhance quality of life through safe, accessible, and enjoyable programs for all residents.

Department Update:

Thank you for your patience during our staffing transition. We are currently working with the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission (PVPC) to support a collaborative plan to evaluate the opportunities to collaborate on services and resources for community members in Palmer and Monson.  Our Council on Aging Board of Directors, Senior Center Team, and Recreation Committee, have all participated in conversations with our PVPC liaison and Monson team members to discuss the challenges and opportunities with merging Senior and Recreation services for the community. We look forward to sharing the final report with all of you.

We aim to still hold programs thanks to our Recreation Committee, we will provide registration information if/when applicable for those activities.
