Sharps Kiosk Information

Needles, lancets, and syringes are all considered sharps. Please dispose of them safely!

Please make sure all sharps are placed in a puncture proof container with the lid taped before placing them in the kiosk. 

DO NOT put loose needles in the kiosk.

DO NOT use a glass container or bag.

DO NOT leave a container outside the kiosk.

Do NOT place other prescriptions or animal medications in the kiosk.

Tape the lid securely close and place containers one at a time in the Sharps Collection Kiosk located at Palmer Town Administration Building located on 4417 Main Street in Palmer. The kiosk is located near the rear entrance, in the hallway that shares the Board of Health and Veterans Services Offices.

This kiosk is for Palmer Residents ONLY.  However, for all community members, Baystate Medical Center offers a way for the public to safely dispose of needles and sharps and unneeded or expired medications. You can safely dispose of needles and medications using containers in the Daly lobby at Baystate Medical Center – 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
