Building Permit Application Forms and Links
Important Notes:
- An Insurance Affidavit must be completed and returned with each Building Permit Application
- Home Owner Exemption Forms must be completed by homeowners of 1 or 2 family- owner occupied-dwellings when the homeowner(s) are doing their own work.
- An appropriately Licensed Construction Supervisor is required for all other work requiring permits on buildings under 35000 cubic feet in area.
- Work in Buildings over 35,000 cubic feet in area require Construction Control, unless work is minor and the Building Official has waived the requirement or the building meets one of the exemptions of Section 107.6.1 in the Massachusetts Amendments. Completed Construction Control Forms must be returned with the completed Building Permit Application.
- Online permitting is preferred. *Note, all paper applications are subject to a $10 administration fee per permit. Applications turned in by paper will NOT be eligible for tracking progress, or reviewing comments.
