The Massachusetts Fair Housing law - in summary - The Fair Housing law declares that it illegal to discriminate on the basis of race, color, religious creed, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, children, ancestry, marital status, veteran history, public assistance recipiency, or handicap (mental or physical).  For additional information see the Fair Housing Document below.

First Time Home Buyers -  HAPHousing offers a variety of programs that make the dream of homeownership possible for families of modest means.  Many people work with HAPHousing to overcome barriers such as:  establishing good credit, repairing credit issues, uncertainty about the homebuying process, insufficient income.

HAP Housing is a Housing Consumer Education Center where renters can find the latest information about rental opportunities, housing-related problems or questions, and education about your rights and responsibilities.  Additionally HAP Housing offers rental assistance programs.
