Town of Palmer Blight & Abandonment Reduction Initiative

In an effort to reduce the number of blighted and abandoned properties, the Town of Palmer has launched a Blight and Abandoned Property Reduction Initiative. This effort is being spearheaded by the Palmer Board of Health. The goal of this initiative is to identify blighted and abandoned properties in town and work with property owners and the community to clean up these properties and improve the character of the community.

Below is an attachment showing properties that have been identified by the Board of Health as being abandoned and the current status of enforcement against these properties.

The Town has been actively working with the Attorney General's Office through their Abandoned Housing Initiative to appoint receivers for. properties which have been abandoned.

If you know of any properties that are abandoned or blighted, please report them to the Palmer Board of Health immediately by clicking HERE.
