Duties and Responsibilities:

The Palmer Redevelopment Authority (PRA) is a five member board, four members of whom are appointed by the Town Manager, and one who is appointed by the Governor of Massachusetts. All members serve in a voluntary capacity.

The PRA meets about once a month, or as determined by need. Meetings are posted in advance on the Town of Palmer's Meetings Calendar.

Mass. General Laws Chapter 121B authorizes a municipality to create a redevelopment authority for the purpose of engaging in urban renewal projects.
