Board of Health
Role of the Board:
The Palmer Board of Health members meet regularly to set policies, provide oversight, and make decisions on key health matters, including permits, variances and enforcement actions. The Board also holds public hearings, ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations and provides direction to the health department by working closely with the Health Agent and other town departments to maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents.
Meeting Details:
Board of Health members meet on the third Monday of each month at 5:30 pm in the Board of Health office in the Town Administration Building. The times and dates of the meetings may vary based on the availability of the members and holidays. Agendas are posted in accordance with the Open Meeting Law virtually on this website’s meeting calendar.
