Mill Towns Regional Animal Control (MTRAC)

Mission Statement

The goal of Mill Towns Regional Animal Control is to provide safe, humane shelter for unwanted, stray, abused and impounded domestic animals in accordance with state regulations. MTRAC is responsible for assuring the timely and effective enforcement of municipal ordinances and state laws. The MTRAC team strives to protect the public’s health and safety from vicious, diseased or injured animals, to educate the public about responsible animal care and ownership and to reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats in the communities we serve.

Our communities benefit from the compassion and humanity shown in caring for animals which have been discarded. The animals cannot speak for themselves; we will advocate for them and provide them with a clean and safe environment until they can move on to their forever home.
