Mission Statement: The mission of the Palmer Domestic Violence Task Force Group is to eradicate Domestic Violence in Palmer.
The Palmer Domestic Violence Task Force Group meets the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 4:30 - 5:30 at the Palmer Police Station in the Meeting Room. New members are always welcome.
The Palmer Domestic Violence Task Force is funded by a grant awarded to the Town of Palmer by the Department of Housing and Urban Development through the MA Department of Housing and Community Development CDBG Program.
What is domestic violence?
Domestic violence is a pattern of behavior that includes the use or threat of violence and intimidation for the purpose of gaining power and control over another person. Violence is characterized by: Physical Abuse, Sexual Abuse, Economic Abuse, Isolation, Emotional Abuse, Control, or Verbal Abuse.
