Traffic Crash Reports Available Online
The Palmer Police Department is committed to making traffic crash reports available to those who need them as soon as possible after the occurrence of a crash. To accomplish this we have recently made our crash reports available online. We believe that online report availability offers a quicker and more convenient way to obtain these reports.
We have partnered with Docview, LLC and are now using their Docview.us.com Crash Report System as an optional method of providing crash reports to the public and to insurance companies, law firms, and other businesses and individuals who use the information contained in these reports.
Online crash reports may be obtained in two ways:
1. |
Individual reports may be purchased using a credit card and can be downloaded as soon as the payment transaction is processed. To purchase reports in this way, go to www.docview.us.com and click on the “Private Citizen Purchase Crash Report” tab at the top of the page. |
2. |
Insurance companies, law firms and other businesses or individuals that purchase a large number crash reports can set up an account with Docview. Once an account is set up, reports can be downloaded whenever needed. Docview will provide one consolidated invoice on a monthly basis for any reports purchased. To request a Docview account, simply visit www.docview.us.com and click on the “Request an Account” tab located at the top of the page. Complete the account request form and submit it. Docview will notify you by email when your account is ready for use. |
Please note: We will continue to make crash reports available to anyone who requests them in writing, either by mail or in person at the police department, but we are offering this new online system as an optional procurement method for our customers.
We hope that you find this new service useful.
Thank you.
