1. Called to order at 1902
2. Roll Call
a) Present: Mr. Williams, Mr. Backus, Mr. Hebert, Mr. Duguay, Ms. Barry, Mr. Burns, Mr. Streeter,
b) Absent: Mr. Remillard, Mr. Dinuovo, Mr. Magiera
3. Pledge of Allegiance
4. Agenda Item: Manager’s evaluation
a) Scores were reviewed by Mr. Burns on a scale of 1-5
i. First read individual score averages
ii. Then reviewed by category
b) Comments:
i. Mr. Duguay: comments have been favorable
ii. Mr. Backus is happy with performance as manager
iii. Mr. Streeter: Thank you for evaluating me fairly
(a) Policy evaluation-Trash removal and failure to staff recreation director. Foresaw budget crisis and warned council about decision to use position to save funds
(b) Trash removal: was discussed with council about putting item off until next FY due to full plate on other matters
(c) Can we discuss council’s priorities at another date? Goals have yet to be formulated and may be discussed later tonight
(d) It has been a pleasure to serve with you thus far. I appreciate your confidence in me
iv. Ms. Barry: Matt has done a fine job in the time that he has been here, especially the way you stepped up to the plate in the collector’s office. I look forward to working with you.
v. Mr. Burns: It has been difficult to evaluate you since you have been here only 5 months; I think you’re doing a good job.
5. Ms. Barry moved; Mr. Burns seconded to adjourn; vote was unanimous to adjourn at 1912.
